Queen's Jubilee at Flintham Hall (1 images)

Over 260 Flintham Villagers gathered at historic Flintham Hall to make history themselves, in a recreation of a photograph taken for Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee, back in 1897.

The group photograph was the brainchild of Sue Clayton, who runs the museum in the village. She approached local photographer Spike Reddington, who ensured the crowd got a memorable keepsake of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

Spike said: "Preparation was the key as we knew there would be many more people of the picture than previously. We were busy borrowing benches and chairs from everywhere to ensure we could see everyone's faces. What amazed me is that the hall hasn't changed one bit in 115 years!"
